Actually white color is very interesting color for me, because the white color actually not exactly just a color, it is because of marker gene, which cover up underlying coloring.
At right now we don’t have white color MaineCoon breeding plan, but in 2024 which is next year, we will consider to import one white color MaineCoon
But we do have another choice, such us white-blue tabby, white-black silver tabby or bicolor black silver tabby.

Smoke color MaineCoon are a solid cats, but because they carried the inhibitor gene so that it will suppresses the color in the hair shaft.
So it will be appear that the cats looks like black, because the tip of their hair are black, but have more lighter color near their bottom.
About high smoke color always been controversial, because usually wide-bond gene only effects on agouti gene, but in MaineCoon smoke color, it has wide-bond but doesn’t have agouti gene.
There is no association that can give a explain on this color
And how to divided high smoke color from shaded/ chinchilla?
Except from hair tip, we can see through their face and paws ring.
Because smoke is solid color, so there is no tabby rings on their paws or tail or body.
And usually high smoke will have some random dark pattern on their face.
We do have black smoke/high smoke color breeding plan, black smoke litter will from Naomi, and high smoke litter will see Rolex in the future.

what is shaded is that:
Agouti gene (which is tabby cat) + inhibitor + wide bond.
Color code is : ns11
And we usually can see is 1/4 of hair length colored at tip
What is chinchilla(shell) is that:
Agouti gene( often ticked ) + inhibitor + wide bond( or super wide bond)
Color code is : ns12
We usually can see is 1/8 of hair length colored at tip
